How much for my pet's portrait and how do I pay?

$50 with free delivery in the Las Vegas New Mexico area or add $10 shipping and handling for an 8 X 10 acrylic on canvas. Payments via Paypal button below. Or you can Venmo, Zelle, or snail mail check. Info for those is below as well.

How do I order a portrait of my dog?

Contact me from the contact page, email aallington.designs@gmail.com. , or text 575-781-0416. You will then be asked to provide a photo of your pet and that will be the animal I paint a portrait of and send to you.

How do I send you the photo of the pet I want painted?

You can email it to me at aallington.designs@gmail.com or text it to me 575-781-0416. Please provide your name and contact info along with the picture. A random photo of an animal with no information attached doesn't do anybody any good and will cause delays.

What if I don't want an exact replica of the photo I send? Can you change some stuff, like remove blemishes or change lighting and colors?

Sure, just let me know in an email or text. Also know that all portraits use a painterly solid background that is pretty neutral unless you really want something specific that is in the background. Again just let me know.

Can you paint any animal or just dogs?

I can paint anything you like, I have done birds, lizards, turtles, fish and of course cats.

You can paint ANYTHING I want?

Well not exactly. I specialize in animal portraits. I can not guarantee a quality piece of artwork for anything other than a pet portrait in the style represented here. But if you insist on something else you can roll the dice and see how I do?

What if I want a bigger or smaller painting than an 8 x 10?

There is a 5$ charge for every 4 inch difference from the standard 8X10 size.

What kind of photo is best to send?

A photo that clearly shows facial details and has dramatic lighting such as dark shadows and bright highlights are the best photos to work from.

I have more than one pet. Can you put more than one animal in the painting? Does it cost extra?

If you don't want to purchase a painting for each of your pets individually I can put up to 4 animals on one canvas for $5 per extra animal. I find that more than 4 animals in one painting gets too jumbled and busy and I don't recommend it.

What is your refund policy?

No take backs after shipping.  I like to work closely with the client to ensure the portrait is to their liking before sending it off.  I do this by sending pics of the painting for approval, giving ample opportunity to request changes or reject it out right.  Payment is requested after approval - before shipping. I can redo the painting or refund the funds if portrait is damaged during shipping.
